Linux System Administrator / DevOps Engineer
Remote • Full Time
We’re looking for a highly skilled Linux System Administrator / DevOps Engineer to join our growing team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex infrastructure problems, automating everything, and working with modern DevOps tooling and cloud-native technologies.
Required Skills & Experience
- • 4+ years of hands-on experience in Linux administration and DevOps engineering
- • Strong expertise with Harness modules (CI, CDP, IDP, STO)
- • Ability to create, modify, and optimise CI/CD pipelines, templates, and deployment flows
- • Experience with pipeline policies, OPM (Onboarding & Policy Management), and governance frameworks
- • Proficiency in GitOps workflows (ArgoCD, GitOps automation, environment rollouts)
- • Strong containerization knowledge: Docker, Kubernetes, Helm
- • Infrastructure automation using Ansible, Packer, and GitHub Actions
- • Experience managing AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch)
- • Knowledge of cloud migrations, security hardening (CIS), and performance tuning
- • Experience integrating DevOps pipelines with Bitbucket, SonarQube, Fortify, or Nexus
- • Kubernetes orchestration and troubleshooting (EKS, AKS, GKE or on-prem clusters)
Key Responsibilities
- • Build, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native environments
- • Manage Linux servers, troubleshoot performance issues, and handle emergency recoveries
- • Implement GitOps deployments using ArgoCD and maintain multi-environment rollouts
- • Write and maintain Ansible playbooks and roles for automation and configuration
- • Manage Kubernetes workloads, Helm charts, storage, and networking
- • Improve DevOps automation frameworks and deployment governance
- • Work closely with development, cloud, and security teams on infrastructure initiatives
Preferred Certifications
- • Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE)
- • Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA)
- • AWS Solutions Architect – Associate
- • Kubernetes certifications (CKA / CKAD) — bonus
- • Linux Foundation or CNCF certifications — bonus
